| Introduction | One husband, one dog, no kids. Some randomness: I have a signed book & picture from Gloria Steinem, met bell hooks, Ashley Judd, and Hillary Clinton. I keep an arsenal of chapstick around. I am most like Monica from Friends in terms of cleanliness. I broke my back in 2 places, it healed in 6 months...I'm a miracle! I love to vaccuum, mop, and do laundry. I once passed out on a plane enroute to AZ for Spring Break in 2005. That was a long flight : ( I'm a "save the world" kind of girl. I am the most ridiculously loyal friend you will ever have...ask them. LOVES: Luna, Mizzou, David, chai tea lattes from BreadCo, VEGAS, shopping at both of my LSS, Christmas, apple butter, Peach Bellinis, Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture edition, books, Mad Gab, purple, flavored tea, my hair, butterflies, weddings, loyalty, crazy organization, writing, mandarin oranges, baking, motivation, ambition, people who aren't afraid to stand up for their beliefs, Italian food, politics, Target, Borders, ice cream, BBQ, people, learning, road trips, thunderstorms, and my wedding rings! |
| Interests | SCRAPBOOKING!!!, Otherwise, my other interests include reading, volunteering, public service, portrayal of women in media, people, women's studies, antiques (especially of the furniture kind), leadership studies and development, and painting. | Favorite Movies | Dirty Dancing still gives me the chills...especially the last 15 minutes. How can you go wrong? But the more important question is, what TV shows do I watch? I watch Young and the Restless every day. I've seen every episode of Sex and the City at least 3 times, and every episode of Friends in sequence thanks to my sister. I love HGTV for Cash in the Attic and shows about buying/selling. I can't live without my crime shows: Criminal Minds, 48 Hours, Dateline NBC, CSI: NY, etc. It's quite ridiculous, really. Then there's Thursday nights on ABC with Ugly Betty and Grey's. Can't go wrong there! And Sunday nights with Extreme Home Makeover, Housewives, and Brothers & Sisters. And my most guilty pleasures are on FX: Dirt and Nip/Tuck...so wrong, but I can't help it. I am a news and a drama whore : ))) |
