About me

Gender FEMALE
Location Russellville, Arkansas, United States
Introduction I had a pristine childhood in Augusta, Missouri. I moved first to Olympia, Washington, then Chicago, Illinois, landing finally in Russellville, Arkansas. Suffice it to say, I'm a recovering addict and everything that comes with that, horror stories, burning of bridges, testing of waters, being a person I was not raised to be, aware and ashamed, allowing nothing but the splintering cracks I created in forcing away those I love most. I'm convinced I've been to hell itself and back so I suppose I feel a little...rugged. That being said, there is a constant awareness of my ascent to sobriety and the effect I've had on those who wish to love me and he who chose to love me in spite of it all, my husband. We both carry burdens which would make Atlas pause, but we're together, willing to "let go and let God" heal what was intended to destroy. With that intention, I return to the keyboard.

Why do you think honeydew is the money melon?

I've never heard of a "money melon," perhaps because it's green? Or "honey" rhymes with "money"? Or there's some word play and insinuation between "honeydew" and "honey do"-type activities which may or may not count as currency. Is this really a thing people say or is Google messing with me?
