| Introduction | I moved to Texas in 2012 to start a PhD program in English. At about that time, I lost the last of 60 pounds. As I continue my PhD program, I struggle to keep the weight off. I run and I try to eat healthily. However, that is a struggle everyday. |

| Favorite music | I listen to an eclectic bit of music. I love Broadway musicals like Rent, Avenue Q, Wicked, In the Heights, Company, and many more. Then there are groups like Morphine, Iron Maiden, Coldplay, Muse, Everything but the Girl, Morcheeba, Savage Garden, and Paramore. I also love vocalists like Alanis Morissette, Elton John, Adam Pascal, Sarah McLachlan, Billy Joel, Gordon Lightfoot, Tara MacLean, Josh Groban, Sara Bareilles, and Ingrid Michaelson.
