Introduction	i'm a detroit girl living in central iowa with my husband, our ever-faithful yellow dog, and two cats. i don't have a t.v. or a microwave. i find facebook and myspace overwhelming. i've had the same blackberry for 4 years and have never used it to access the internet. i don't even know what it means to twitter. i like simple things like reading, painting, sewing, cooking, and taking hikes with sam and yellow dog. while i may not be the most tech-savvy chica, i'm betting i could probably school you on horseback, build a killer tree fort, sew a new skirt and still have time to make vegan cupcakes that taste better than your mom's.(hey, a little chutzpah goes a long way!) i'm growing up in fits and starts and doing my best to leave the world a brighter place than i found it. love & light.
