| Introduction | Our family is unique. We don't try to be, but our callings and faith have made us different from other families, and that is OK! We understand that our concept of family is different. We consistently strive to make the PEOPLE in our lives important, and not the THINGS in our lives...We are a family who wants to raise true human beings, not necessarily soccer stars or rocket-scientists (not that there is anything wrong with either of those)! Our family has a few principles that we try to live by. We do make mistakes, all of the time, but we really try to do/be the following: Live by the Golden Rule. (Do unto others as you would have done to yourself(Matthew 7:12)... "Be the change you want to see in this world" (Mahatma Ghandi) ... And, best of all, Matthew 19:14 "...Allow the little ones to come unto me and do not hinder them, for as such as these is the Kingdom of Heaven composed." If you understand these ideas, you will understand our family. If not, please keep reading our blog and maybe someday, we might make sense! :-) Understanding is a journey, not a impulse! :-) |
