Einführung	This blog started out to document the seasons and the landscape of the Beaver Valley here in one of the most scenic spots in southern Ontario. Since then we've moved to Meaford, in the next valley over, on the Bighead River and right on the shore of Georgian Bay. I have become more and more interested in photography, while pursuing my other love of writing. My blog lets me put them together and keep exploring a little bit every day. Unfortunately I am now in a wheelchair following complications during surgery, so my photographic adventures are going to be a little different. But still, I hope you enjoy my observations!

Lieblingsfilme	The wind in the trees the water falling over the rocks and the birds calling in the spring. The snow in the winter, green leaves in the spring, canoeing in the summer, coloured leaves in the fall. My ongoing movie is the great outdoors.
Lieblingsmusik	Beethoven's 5th, Peat Bog Fairies, Gord Lightfoot, North Sea Gas.
Lieblingsbücher	The Cadfael Series, Nigel Tranter's historical novels on Scotland, Leopold's Sand County Almanac.
