| Introduction | Im a level 2 Broadcast Journalist Student with the intention of becoming a television presenter in the future. Im a big lover of Sports as well as films so i want to either work on sports commentary or as the next presenter of film two thousand and whatever, probably film 3000 by the time i get my big break ! |
| Interests | quite clearly i like action films, hence my blog actionflicks.blogspot.com. I also happen to like a load of other genres of film too so you may see some other types of films creep their way onto the blog if i find them particularly enjoyable ! |
| Favorite Movies | so many to mention, i will try not to ramble on too much. My guilty pleasure is John Woo's Face/Off starring Nicholas Cage and John Travolta. It is very flawed, but it is also probably the film i have seen most times in my life because i cant help but love it. Im also a big fan of Gladiator, Troy and 300 as i like epics. My favourite film however is the Dark Knight, i never read comic books as a kid i only watched batman on Saturday morning kids TV so im not a biased uber fan, i genuinely believe it to be a fantastic piece of film making. |
| Favorite Music | I have a very strange taste in music that branches across every genre you can imagine from heavy rock ro rap and classical. I blame film trailers for this. My favourite band are Linkin Park and i was delighted when they played my home town in 2008, Milton Keynes !!! |
| Favorite Books | The best book i have ever read is Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. I read it long before the film or the film of Da Vinci code for that matter and loved it. Hopefully the film wont ruin the book for me how the other one tarnished its predecessor ! I have respect for the power of the Bible and the influence it still has on modern society, whether i believe what it says or who is supposedly saying and for what purposes however is a much larger debate !!! |
