Introduction	Darling and Tread Softly moved from Virginia to Austin, TX during their third year of marriage to explore opportunity and bond with family. Darling is currently employed in the tech support field, but is looking for something in administrative support. He has a degree in psychology and is taking a course to become a certified solar electrician. Tread, a college drop-out, is happy with her waitress position but eager to start taking classes again. This year they struggle to balance debt repayment with a love of travel, learn to arrange medical treatment they've never been able to afford before, and discover the trials and tribulations of car-free job hunting in the city.
