| Introduction | You never know--life changes in the blink of an eye! Yesterday I was your average retiree, living the good life. Today, I am raising an almost 13 granddaughter. I love her dearly and she is a sweet child but how do I do this? DH will be 80 next Spring and I will be 72 in a month. We are both healthy and active but that can change in a flash too. Do we have 6 good years to get our little lady through high school? I am scared and sad. Sad for me and DH, sad for the LL that her father has turned his back on her, sad that her mother (our daughter) can't take care of her. |
