| Introduction | Welcome readers and fellow bloggers! I’ve loved baking since I was a little girl “helping” my mom and grandmother in the kitchen, they put me in charge of licking the beaters (quality control in my mind). Fortunately for me, baking from scratch only skipped one generation because mom’s preference is anything from a box. I like to challenge myself and anything that isn’t an overly daunting task I will try. I graduated from a technical high school, my course of choice being Pastry Arts. My dream is to someday, after pastry school and a journey to Paris, open my own bakery café somewhere in the world. I’m writing this blog mainly to give other cake decorators or bakers, novice or seasoned, inspiration that may help form an idea or add to one they’ve already put together. When I get an order for a cake I always Google ideas which majority of the time leads me to a blog. And I would love to give some of what I get, back to someone that is doing the same as me. That being said, I really hope you guys enjoy what I have to post and I would love your honest feedback or suggestions on a cake or baking project you would like to see me do and make a post about.
