| Introduction | A short bit about me... No surprise seeing this blog I'm a bona fide car lover and find the automotive industry a constant interest. I regularly visit top shows including Geneva, Frankfurt and Paris so as to keep up with the latest launches whilst Goodwood is one event I cannot miss. People often ask me what my favourite car is. The truth is I don't have just one; but rather a number from different classes and eras. A few include the Aston Martin Vanquish Mk2, Range Rover SVAutobiography, Mazda MX-5 Mk1 & Mk4, Austin Cooper S and Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV :) Behind the wheel I enjoy driving although I'm yet to be persuaded by the future of the autonomous car. How will cars remain involving and distinctive if you're being driven everywhere by sensors and electronics? Away from the internal combustion engine, I enjoy socialising with friends, going to the cinema, reading a good Frederick Forsyth novel and travelling, (Oz, New Zealand and Canada are next on my list) I'm also a keen swimmer and enjoy being active by getting out and about... |
