| Introduction | When it comes to the topic of extreme poverty it is so easy to get overwhelmed and feel a sense of hopelessness. For 30 days beginning July 30th we want to intentionally keep the realities of extreme poverty on the forefront of our minds. The goals of this blog are really quite simple: 1. Raise awareness of the extreme poverty in our world through a variety of ways. 2. Ask God how He wants us to get involved. For some, the emphasis may be more on awareness where as others will discover ways to tangibly make a difference. It's our hope that awareness will move us all into action toward making a tangible difference. At this time we are highlighting two specific ministries, Amazima Ministries and Gospel for Asia, that we believe are fantastic examples of showing God's love by ministering to the needs of the poorest of the poor. |
