| Introduction | I am a master's student in the marketing program at Texas A&M University, and am excited to be able to share some insights about marketing strategy through this blog. I have a passion for the veterinary industry. Growing up in my father's practice provided me the opportunity to experience veterinary medicine on the front lines. I learned from an early age that running a successful veterinary practice not only hinged on possessing professional skill, but also on the ability to see an occupation as a business. I had the fortune to work on the academic side of veterinary medicine for several years in an administrative capacity, which gave me a unique perspective into the training of future veterinarians. As I interacted with these young professionals and also reflected back on my father's colleagues, I was continually intrigued by the lack of attention they were willing to give to the business aspect. Through this path in life, I found my calling. I want to help practice owners make their businesses successful by helping to develop creative and unique marketing solutions. |
