Introduction Gerry Biron is both an artist and an independent researcher of historic Northeast Woodland beadwork. He authored the publication Made of Thunder, Made of Glass: American Indian Beadwork of the Northeast, in 2006 and A Cherished Curiosity:The Souvenir Beaded Bag in Historic Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Beadwork in 2012. Additionally, he has written several feature articles about Northeast Woodland beadwork. His artwork combines his passion for history, art and the historic beadwork produced by the Indian Nations from the Northeast.
