| Introduction | My husband Rick and I have been married (1966) for nearly 46 years, we began 'dating' at the age of 12! Rick spend 2 yrs. in the Army, was stationed in Germany for 18 months, I was there with him for a year. In 1972 the 1st of our 3 daughters were born, Amy Nicole, Aaron Elizabeth and Anne Kathleen, our quiver was full! Well almost, because our son Andrew Richard was born in 1979 completing our family. We have been blessed with 11 grandchildren, the oldest ones, twin boys will be 14 this month. It was wonderful to be a stay at home mom, not that extra money would not have been very useful but it was just the right thing for our family. I now have have the opportunity of caring for our grandchildren on the days that their Moms and Dads work, I am a lucky gal. All of our children live near us the furthest being only 9 miles away. Holidays here in our farm home are always filled with family. |
| Interests | My family, that has been given to me by Jesus are my #1 interest always! I love to go antiquing, weeding (to use in some type of display) decorate (and redecorate!), love going to the woods, picking flowers and Tea Parties for any occasion I can think of!! I enjoy cooking, baking and a clean tidy house. I am a Kitty lover and we also have a dog, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier whose name is Duffy. In my little corner of the world, Life is Good! Smiling about the adversities make them tolerable! |
| Favorite Movies | My very favorite movies, Gone with the Wind, White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life. I love to watch the children's Christmas Classics also, with or without children ;p..I usually enjoy the guy gets the girl type also, Sweet home Alabama to name 1. I enjoy watching the movies made of some of my favorite books too... |
| Favorite Music | I am pretty much a country music kind of gal, not so much all that is produced today though. I love Classical and Gospel also. |
| Favorite Books | I enjoy books by Louisa May Alcott, L.M. Montgomery. History and Biographies of Presidents and their families, great battle fields of the United States. The Bible is last to list by certainly not the last to read. |
