| Introduction | After 9 years of GW-BASIC and COBOL, developing custom tailored applications and addons for local software resellers, I got into localization in 1994 invited by former Lexitrans (Madrid) starting as member of the portuguese Microsoft Office 95 localization team. Three years later, I traveled to Dublin for Microsoft Windows 98 In-house localization (accepting contract renewal for Windows 2000 Localization too). Ever after, I've been working on a freelance basis, improving localization skills and techniques, working for several important translation companies. |
