Introduction | Kia ora koutou. I made my way to NZ from London, Ontario, Canada in January 1997 and have been teaching at Bay of Islands College ever since. In high school I played volleyball (setter), basketball ( I could dunk at 16 years of age and I'm only 6 ft tall) and ran track &; field as a 110 and 400m hurdler. I discovered golf at the age of 13 and have been tormented ever since. I spent 6 years at the University of Western Ontario majoring in Physical Education, Science and Education earning an Honours BA in Kinesiology and BEd in Education (Physical Education, Maths and Science). I am a CVA Level 3 coach and VNZ Level 2 coach and have a National Refereeing Qualification for volleyball. At Bay College, I have coached volleyball, basketball, athletics, table tennis and AFL. I have been privileged to be recognised for numerous community awards and became a NZ citizen in 2016. Despite all that I have experienced, my marriage to the lovely Kiwi girl Lynda in 2005 (in Vanuatu) will always be top of the list. |
