| Introduction | On the 22nd of June, I will be leaving BWI airport for Chennai, India. From there I will be going to the small temple town of Tiruvannamalai. This is where Wide Children's Home is located and where I will be spending a large portion of my summer. Wide Children's Home is a small orphanage with about thirty children between 4 and 12. Kumari Xavier has tried to create a place that feels more like a home and less like an institution, and I am very excited about being part of this organization. |
