| Introduction | In the Fall of 2000 Domenic and I began splitting our time between the Seattle area and a small village north of Lucca, Italy. In 2010 we sold our mini farm and in 2011 bought a condominium in Capannori, seven kilometers east of Lucca. Currently we spend four months of the year in Italy and the other eight months near Seattle, Washington. My ethnic heritage is primarily Irish and Scandinavian but when I fell in love with my Italian-American husband I whole-heartedly adopted his love for all things Italian.
