| Introduction | I'm Jill and Inspire Video Productions was born out of my passion for video documentation. It all started in Gawad Kalinga (GK) in 2002 when I traveled all over the Philippines to shoot advocacy videos and mini-documentaries to promote our cause. I produced videos featuring heroic volunteers and inspiring men & women who went outside their comfort zones to help build a nation. In 2006, I studied Digital Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and learned more video production techniques. Also in the same year, I worked in GMA Network as a segment producer for their affiliate network QTV 11. Currently I teach video production in one of Manila's private colleges. My signature is in my editing style....telling a visual story in a simple, impactful, no-frills approach. In my journey in video documentation, I have adopted a holistic approach-- from conceptualization, writing the script, to shooting & editing the video. This was how Inspire Videos was born. From the slums, to beautiful GK communities, to New York, to a local TV network...and now to the classroom. Inspire became a journey unlike any other. |
