| Introduction | Peter Richman graduated with an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business (Arizona State University) and was elected to Beta Sigma Gamma honor society. He previously wrote a quarterly column on personal finance for Emergency Medicine News, a widely circulated periodical for physicians. Dr. Richman has passed the NASD Series 65 Examination for Investment Adviser Representatives. Dr. Richman has extensive business experience. He co-founded MDChoice.com (now known as the Health Central Network) that was acquired by major venture capital firms (Sequoia, Allen, Polaris) in 2005. He is also a co-founder of Tomosoft Technologies LLC, a software company dedicated to reducing radiation exposure from medical imaging, and serves as a strategic adviser to several early stage medical device companies. Previously, Dr. Richman worked as an academic physician for over 13 years. He has numerous peer-review medical publications and has provided over 60 national/international clinical research presentations. From 2005-2010, Dr. Richman was the Vice Chair for Clinical Research and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona. |
