About me

Introduction	Peter Richman graduated with an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business (Arizona State University) and was elected to Beta Sigma Gamma honor society. He previously wrote a quarterly column on personal finance for Emergency Medicine News, a widely circulated periodical for physicians. Dr. Richman has passed the NASD Series 65 Examination for Investment Adviser Representatives. Dr. Richman has extensive business experience. He co-founded MDChoice.com (now known as the Health Central Network) that was acquired by major venture capital firms (Sequoia, Allen, Polaris) in 2005. He is also a co-founder of Tomosoft Technologies LLC, a software company dedicated to reducing radiation exposure from medical imaging, and serves as a strategic adviser to several early stage medical device companies. Previously, Dr. Richman worked as an academic physician for over 13 years. He has numerous peer-review medical publications and has provided over 60 national/international clinical research presentations. From 2005-2010, Dr. Richman was the Vice Chair for Clinical Research and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona.
