| Introduction | My entire life, thus far, is a catalog of creative ventures. I am a songwriter, a painter,illustrator and designer. You should see my list of things I still want to be. In 2007, I moved to Los Angeles after a three year stint in Nashville, TN where I was writing and playing music. I moved to a beach town where I found myself enjoying the gorgeous west coast and the setting sun everyday. But, I felt that my creative soul was longing for a new outlet. I began to paint. The only supplies I had in my apartment at the time were a couple tubes of acrylic and a bottle of black ink. I remembered using ink and watercolor for a painting I did in a middle school art class once. I painted an illustration of my neighbor's garden. It was the first painting I had done in years. On top of working towards my degree in Graphic Design and working in the magazine publishing bizz, I have been selling and showing my paintings in and around the Los Angeles area for the past three years. . |
