Introduction Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruits, little starch, and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. -Greg Glassman Though I no longer follow the Zone Diet by Dr. Barry Sears, I still believe his mantra that "food is more than a source of sustenance; it becomes the most powerful drug known to man". Therefore I am exploring the Paleo lifestyle. I'm not perfect at it and it isn't always easy (especially when not everyone you know follows it) but I try! I cut sugar, bread, starch, potatoes, grains, dairy and processed food from my diet and have seen great results. It's not easy and I'm not perfect at it, but I'll keep trying and maybe one day I won't want that cake!
Interests I love cooking, spending time with friends and family, playing with my dog Ike, vacation, traveling, Crossfit, reading, and the computer!
Favorite Movies I love bad movies! National Treasure, Jurassic Park (1, 2, and 3), if it's bad, I love it! I love scary movies: Dracula, Dawn of the Dead, An American Haunting, The Strangers ... And I love Big Love and The Tudors on HBO/Showtime.
Favorite Music I like pretty much everything, Pop, country, rap. Jessica Simpson, Coldplay, Kanye .. whatever!
Favorite Books I am currently obsessed with reading Steve Berry's books (The Templar Legacy, The Venetian Betrayal), The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is a really good book, The Twilight Series, Harry Potter Series, I love a good book series!
