| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! I'm a Toronto-based dance artist, as well as an independent dance researcher/scholar. I finished graduate school three years ago, with a PhD in Dance Studies (York University). I'm a founding member of the Toronto-based dance troupe Ekakshara Dance Creations, as well as co-artistic director of Ensemble Topaz, which brings together music and dances of several regions of the world, and I also dance with the Saucy Tarts ("genuine purveyors of the Queen Street cancan!") In this blog, I expect to share some of my dancing experiences through different parts of the world, and perhaps also to feature interviews with different dancers at some point.
