Introduction | A sensitive, intelligent, fun loving and gregarious yet serious guy with varied tastes in just about everything; passionate about food, culture, the arts, politics, goals, knowing yourself, and living life. Definitely a romantic, not too mushy. Yeah, I'll cry if something hurts me deeply, but that something probably won't be a 'chick-flick' I'm watching. I know who I am, and what I am, and am not afraid to be that person although I also firmly believe in decorum. I really enjoy living in the metro area of Denver, and love my loft which has an amazing view. I love people with vibrant personalities who are not afraid to be themselves. I thrive on interesting conversation - really getting to know someone is something I value highly. I enjoy being active and out of doors, which can be anything from walking around town to hiking to snow sports to reading in the park. However, I am also fascinated by people who are passionate about things I might not have had experience with as variety brings new adventures. I gravitate towards people who take care of themselves on every level, not just physically, but mentally and spiritually as well (even if that's just believing in yourself). |
Interests | I'm interested in almost anything and everything, particularly politics, food and fine dining, physical fitness, the arts, growing things, music, film, and learning all I can along the way. |
Favorite Movies | Sheesh - who can pick just a few?? I've seen far too many amazing movies to list them all here. |
Favorite Music | Everything but most country and most rap; I make a few exceptions now and again. I can always appreciate well-written music, no matter what the style. |
Favorite Books | Far too many to list here. Right now I am reading 'The Fountainhead' by Ayn Rand, 'Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell' by Susanna Clarke, a book about the experiences of children raised in Gay and Lesbian households called 'Families Like Mine' by Abigail Garner, and a fascinating book called 'The Tipping Point' by Malcolm Gladwell. As you can see, my taste varies widely. |
Come up with some possible band names for your group that features a washboard and a styrofoam tuba.
The Plasticized Yokels, Y Kan't JimBob Blo' His Horn, and my favorite, Poly and the Styrenes.
