| Introduction | I am the Rome bureau chief for Catholic News Service. Until December 2011, I was the Vatican correspondent for Religion News Service. I have been a frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal since 1995. My writing has also appeared in the Washington Post, USA Today, Time, the Huffington Post, Forbes, BusinessWeek, the Boston Globe, the Chronicle of Higher Education, the American Spectator, and the Atlantic Monthly. I am co-author, with Rockwell A. Schnabel, of "The Next Superpower?" (Rowman & Littlefield, 2005). |
