Location United States
Introduction My name is Shannon Hyland-Tassava (or, depending on who you are and how I know you, some variant thereof.) I’m a (just barely) fortysomething full-time stay-at-home mom, part-time writer, avid runner, clinical psychologist, and private wellness coach. I have two daughters under nine and a life full of storybooks, Play-Doh, laundry, and love. I write about modern motherhood in all its chaos and glory. Pronounce my married last name thus: TASS-uh-vuh (accent on the first syllable). E-mail me at
Interests writing, running, mothering, cooking, baking, reading magazines, eating ice cream, and dreaming of a full night's sleep.
