| Introduction | Susan is the senior director of communications for the National Confectioners Association. She is responsible for the Association's industry and public communications efforts, coordinates the consumer public relations program that results in more than 1 billion impressions each year and manages the Association's online presence. Susan joined the Associations in 1998 as the Manager of Communications for NCA and Chocolate Manufacturers Association. Before joining the staff of NCA, Susan was part of the public relations team at Davis Memorial Goodwill Industries (now Goodwill of Greater Washington) in Washington, DC, a not-for-profit organization helping people with disabilities find employment. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Va. |
