Favorite movies	Try rather 'favourite directors': Pedro Almodovar, Giuseppe Tornatore, Mark Herman, Sofia Coppola, Pen-Ek Ratanaruang, Juzu Itami, Stephen Chow, John Sayles, Alfred Hitchcock, Lars von Trier, Mohsen Makhmalbaf...I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones that come to mind first.
Favorite music	If it's angry, Jesse likes it. I like storytellers and folk songs, as well as the unusual or unexplored. Monks chanting, club music from Turkey, operatic solos and Bruce Springsteen all rub elbows in my collection.
Favorite books	Jesse prefers fiction; he has a soft spot for angry white men who died in the 20th century. I prefer history, biography and memoir. Currently fascinated by gardening/local sustainable resources.
