| Introduction | I graduated from Bridgewater State University with my Bachelors of Science. I majored in Geography, and focused my studies in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing and Cartography. I participated in an Undergraduate Research Project on the impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing in North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Research focused on the environmental impact, as well as the public health effects of shale drilling practices in these location and presented these topics using GIS analysis and remote sensing at the 2015 Association of American Geographers Conference in Chicago, IL and at the Bridgewater State University Research Symposium. I recently worked as a GIS Field Tech with the MassGIS division. In this position, I would gather and analyze data collected in the field to address inaccuracies found within the Emergency-911 database. I also completed an internship with the Town of Mansfield's Water Department, where I assisted the GIS Manager on several projects, including updating the towns hydraulic model, established a Geo-database of system drawings, hyperlinking those documents with in ArcGIS and completed other GIS related tasks. |
