Introduction	My late dad was a law enforcement officer shot in the line of duty, and whose perp eluded authorities nationwide for 44 years, until my own search resulted in his apprehension. I spent five years investigating the whole case, and have written a book called THE SOUND OF SILENCE, THE SHOCKING TRUE CRIME MEMOIR OF THE 44-YEAR QUEST THROUGH COVER-UPS AND CORRUPTION TO CATCH MY DAD'S KILLER.
