Describe the sound of a moist waffle falling onto a hot griddle.
With only the slight sizzle at first of oil burning on the griddle. Then, suddenly, as if it started pouring rain, the waffle has touched the griddle and an explosion sizzles and pops and crackles come together to form an applause of clapping water into nothing but evaporation.
