Introduction I am a mom to two beautiful girls, 3rd grade teacher, freelance writer, foster mom to rescue dogs, and non-licensed veterinarian. In addition to teaching, I write a monthly column for The Teacher's Lounge at Really Good Stuff.com and curriculum guides for the company's Product Development Department. On the homefront, I possess supernatural abilities allowing me to simultaneously be "the world's meanest, most overprotective mother" to my 21 year old-who doesn't even live at home-and "the best mommy ever" to my 9 year old. Besides fostering dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, I also have three zany pooches of assorted shapes and sizes, who have vaulted my vet onto the Forbes List of Richest Americans.
