| Introduction | Originally from Belgium, I am now a New York based figurative and abstract painter; I work essentially from pictures and/or life models. The human figure -mostly women- strikes me the most. By capturing its forms, movements or lines, I tell my own story. I explore abstraction in my textured backgrounds using mainly acrylics and mixed media. I accept commissioned artwork on figures representing people's families.
