| Introduction | i'm 27 years old and in what is as close to a marriage as is possible here in virginia. i am originally from the washington d.c metro area and my girl, from the boston metro area. i pretty much hate the southern politics and will fervently argue that virginia is the worst commonwealth in the states. have a twin bro who lives in hawaii and he's expecting his first child in nov. 07, my girl and i hope to have our first in jan. or feb. 08! professionally, i am a chef. right now i spend 80 percent of my time in my restaurant, it's almost a year old and in this business, the first year is the roughest. i work 6 days a week every week and 7 days probably 2 weeks in a month. this doesn't make for a lot of time elsewhere but you have to work to get the things you want and since it hasn't killed me yet, i figure i can hold on until my family starts taking up 80 percent of my time. i am so stoked about being a parent some days i want to burst! ....and we are t-minus 10-14 days til insemination! |

| Favorite books | i read a lot. my favorite authors are poets mostly but one of the things that i got through most recently was the whole Pern series, i forgot who it's by but i read the whole thing even though it's not my favorite genre and it's probably now my favorite series. |
