Introduction Lee Alan Bleyer is a Washington, DC-based writer and teacher. He has taught writing in The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies at Catholic University, American University, The Catholic University of America, the University of Maryland (College Park), and Trinity (Washington) University. His work has appeared in _Irish Studies Review_, _Concept_, and in the critical apparatus and appendices of various composition textbooks. His first play, _The Tragical History of Eleanor Bloom_ (co-authored with Jessica Pearson) had its world premiere in July 2010 as part of the Capital Fringe festival. His pseudonym is derived from the name that Leopold Bloom uses when corresponding with Martha Clifford in James Joyce's _Ulysses_. He is also HistoryofPop.
