| Introduction | My purpose is joy. I got my high school diploma in ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, my B.A. in philosophy from Whitman College, my coaching training with InsideTrack (master level certification) and Accomplishment Coaching (certified graduate), and my MFA in Dance from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa (UHM). While living in Portland, OR I enjoyed life and professional coaching, teaching and performing dance, and leadership roles such as President of the Dance Coalition of Oregon, and Membership Co-Chair of the Northwest Coaches Association. On O‘ahu I taught dance at UHM, Hawai‘i Tokai International College, Ballet Hawai‘i, Dance Central at the YMCA, Island Tumblers Gymnastics, Pas De Deux Hawai‘i, Page Academy of Dance, and The Movement Center. Now in Cologne, Germany, I have added a yoga teacher training (completed October 2020) to my toolkit, and continue to teach dance and coach online in English and German. |
