| Introduction | Kristin Kusanovich has directed, choreographed and produced over one hundred solo and ensemble works in drama, dance, musical theatre, opera, film and video. She received her MFA in Dance (Choreography and Performance) from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and did her undergraduate work at Santa Clara University in the Department of Theatre and Dance and the Department of Mathematics. From 1990-2000 she was Artistic Director of Kusanovich Dance Theatre of Minneapolis. Since reforming her company Kusanovich Dance in 2015, she and her dancers have presented five new works in San Francisco at ZSpace and San Francisco Community Music Center for the West Wave Dance Festival and at Grace Cathedral as a part of the SF Moving Arts Festival, as well as in CA Dance Festival. This blog honors process and product and intermixes rehearsal, tech/dress and performance moments.
