| Introduction | I am 32 years old. I have a beautiful wife named Christie, a 2-1/2 year old son named Evan, and a 3 month old daughter named Emma. I became a Christian in 2007 and have had an amazing journey so far. God has completely changed my life and blessed me in so many ways. I believe the Bible to be the inerrant, authoritative, inspired Word of God and that everything within it points to Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus is our only hope for salvation. We have sinned against a holy and just God. The only way we can be forgiven is by repenting and trusting in Christ. We cannot earn salvation by our works. God must open our eyes to the truth that we are sinners (Romans 3:23) deserving of death (Romans 6:23), that Jesus took the punishment for our sins on the cross and that God raised Him from the dead on the third day. We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). When God truly does this miraculous work in us, we become new creatures. We develop a hatred for sin and a strong desire to please God. Through this blog I hope to bring glory to God and to lead people to Jesus Christ. |
