| Introduction | I am an educator, writer, filmmaker. During Oloile Secondary School's first term, I served as an advisor to the local staff as the school was established. Upon returning to the U.S. I produced two short films following students at the school: Being Damaris and Dreams to be Obama. The experience at Oloile prompted my decision to pursue a graduate degree in International Education Policy and Management at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College. |
