About me

Introduction My philosophy is based primarily on ethical, leadership, moral and academic values when it pertains to my functions and my philosophical approach as a teacher to educating the children entrusted to me. I firmly believe that every individual is capable of obtaining and utilizing knowledge to expand their abilities in order to become successful and productive citizens in society. I believe that education is a process that must be formed on foundational skills moving from the simple to the more intricate forms of knowledge in stages. As a teacher, I feel it is my duty to capture the interests and cultivate the growth of individual students through curriculum which involves discoveries relevant to life’s experiences, high expectations, active learning, positive discipline and democratic principles all presented through differentiated instruction. I conduct my classroom promoting tolerance, effort, compassion, respect, and encouragement through a variety of learning disciplines. It is a place that is influenced by the students, teachers, parents, and community at large.
