| Introduction | This is a blog about comfort food and the places to find it. It's about Sunday dinner, barbecue, and slap ya' mama pie. There's no designer food here, no small portions on large plates, nothing stood on end. I write about real places where real food is cooked by cooks, not chefs. Menus are based on satisfaction, not art or the latest trend. Some of these places would scare the bejesus about of the likes of Gordon Ramsey, just as the clientele here would flee in panic if they walked in and saw a guy in a Cordon Bleu jacket standing at the flat top. These are the types of places where the motto is "C'mon, you can't be full, yet!" |
