| Introduction | Laura Cesarco Eglin, a poet and translator, is the author of Calling Water by Its Name, trans. S. Spanbauer (Mouthfeel Press), Sastrería (Yaugurú), Los brazos del saguaro (Yaugurú), Occasions to Call Miracles Appropriate (The Lune), &Tailor Shop: Threads, co-translated with T. Williams (Finishing Line Press). Her poems and translations (from the Spanish, Portuguese, Portuñol, & Galician) have appeared in many journals, including Modern Poetry in Translation, Eleven Eleven, Puerto del Sol, Copper Nickel, SRPR, International Poetry Review, Tupelo Quarterly, Columbia Poetry Review, Blood Orange Review, Timber, Pretty Owl Poetry. She is the co-publisher of Veliz Books. Laura Cesarco Eglin, poeta y traductora uruguaya, es la autora de Llamar al agua por su nombre (Mouthfeel Press), Sastrería y Los brazos del saguaro (Yaugurú). También ha publicado dos plaquettes: Occasions to Call Miracles Appropriate (The Lune) y Tailor Shop: Threads, traducido con T. Williams (Finishing Line Press).
