| Introduction | Why does a Culinary Queen write about Politics? Why not? My life and job experiences have shown how our daily lives are effected by our political choices. We must be wisely informed. I am a 68 year old happily married woman, with a supportive, intelligent, loving husband of 20 years. Together we have a blended family of 7 children and 18 grandchildren. A 23 year stint as a Military wife provided the opportunity of living, working and observing in different areas of the US, Europe, and Asia. It also led to a variety of work opportunities including the ownership of a Cooking School. But the most wonderful and important job was being a Mom. It has also been the most rewarding. I want the generations to come to be able to sit down with family and friends for a good meal and lively conversation. I hope they will be free to discuss religion, politics, and the issues of their day with an understanding of their responsibility to keep that fredom alive.I believe, I live in the best most free country on earth.Itake an interest in the politics of this country to insure that the United States of America will continue to fit that description. |
