Introduction Andrew has worked in the food service field for over 20 years. Currently developing healthy meals within the NYC Charter school system. Before becoming interested in creating healthy meals for next generation, I also developed collaborations with local chefs, including Harlem’s own celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, farmers and city agencies that are working to support the transformation of the nutrition environment in East and Central Harlem. I served as the director of food services and culinary arts instructor at Food Change (currently NYC Food Bank). Gained further experience working as a food service manager for the New York City Dept of Education. Bachelor’s of Science degree in food marketing and his associates of arts degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island.
