| Introduction | On March 21st 2016, I met a man who had just left a particularly toxic relationship. He was emotionally damaged, drug down and crushed in spirit, and was also the most amazingly handsome, kind, humorous, and just overall awesome human being I had ever found. In 2019 we tied the knot. He previously had two children and a ex with more mental health issues than there is time to bother listing. She HATED me! Not like, the casual kind of hate, but the loathing kind of hate that has hate messages taped to walls, and email chains saved / printed into folders, documents filed away against me if ever needed... Needless to say, she set out on a journey to be against us in every way possible, determined to pigeon hole me into the evil stepmom role. It works some days, and the kids don't always like me. Some day's they forget, and we are all one big happy family. It's a roller coaster of a journey, and like many before me, I found myself with a lot to say but nobody to say it to. My joy, frustrations, victories, petty days, humorous days, all of it. This is where it goes. This is my outlet. Welcome to my life. The life and adventures of an unwillingly titled Evil Stepmom!
