| Introduction | Hi, I'm Laura Orton. I currently work as a Police Officer but am itching to work in the creative field of Design as the military life of orders and rules is not for me! I have self taught a number of skills including computer design on Gimp, sewing, mosaic and wood turning. I particularly enjoy finding different fonts that I can use in projects. It's amazing how many different ways you can write one single letter! I love to draw and create and would always rather make a gift than buy one. I have been a cop for 9 years now and am incredibly good at my job, however I feel now is the time to move on to pastures new and unleash the creativity in my mind as a career rather than a hobby. |
