| Introduction | When I was a teenager, I would sit outside on warm nights, gazing at the stars and wishing aliens would come and take me away. I don't know why? I had a great family, lots of friends, and had no problems at school, except I wanted to be a little more popular than I was. But, I think what I really craved was adventure. I wanted to go beyond reality and seek what could be. I love challenges. So, what greater challenge than to let my imagination soar beyond the limitations of Earth out into space or somewhere else. I write speculative fiction for young adults and middle grade children. I have a teenage son, a scruffy mutt by the name of Bear and a wonderful husband who embraces my nature. I think everyone I meet has a little extraterrestrial hidden somewhere inside of them. A very cool thing. |
