|Hi! My name is Sylvia and I am always busy doing something. I have been involved in the arts as far back as I can remember and cannot imagine not being artistic. I will always be interested in new mediums to work with and am currently working with aged slake limestone/marble plasters in my paintings. To me they are a combination of emotions I am able to express both in painting and sculpting. To see these paintings in person is amazing. They have so much depth. I love meeting new people and sharing and encouraging each person's endeavors in life. So please feel free to share your thoughts here on my blog. I would like to know what you are working on!
|Being with my family and friends, cooking, of course being creative, listening to music, reading, hiking, beach, cycling, backpacking, kayaking, trying new things
|Babette's Feast, Mostly Martha, Eat drink man woman, tortilla soup, Harold and Maude, The good the bad and the ugly, Blade runner, Star wars, Matrix, The long road home, King of Masks and many others.
|I do not have a favorite. There is so much music that expresses so many moods, so my favorite would be the one that fits my current feeling. But to name a few: Gorecki, Buddha Bar CD series, Cat Stevens, Dawn Upshaw, Iron and Wine, The Shins, The Beatles, Yo-Yo-Ma, The Silk Road Ensemble.
|Biographies. The World is my home by James Michener, John Steinbeck, Left To Tell by Immaculée Ilibagiza, and many more.
