Introduction	I am new to blogging. I find it very cathartic to share thoughts and memories. I was widowed at 32 years of age, husband was killed in a plane crash and I was left with 3 young children to raise. My kids are now 23, 22, and 17, so for the first time in my life, I am having "me time." I am enjoying blogging about little snippets of memories as I have them. There is healing in all these little stories. I love to read about others lives as well. I also love to read, and I have recently taken up knitting, both with needles and with a loom. I like the loom knitting because you can make things really fast and they look great, but I also like knitting with needles because I feel like that is "real knitting."
Favorite movies	Legends of the Fall, Once, While You Were Sleeping, Bella, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Man on Fire
Favorite music	Praise and Worship music
Favorite books	Have many favorite books and authors, but if I had to choose one author, it would be Charles Martin. His books are so touching...they stay with you long past the final page!
